1. Who we are

The Last Avenue is a trading name of The Last Avenue Limited (“we”, “us”), which operates this website and sells the fragrances offered on it.

2. How a contract is formed

Everything shown on this site is an invitation to buy, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email.

If we cannot fulfil an order — because an item is unavailable, because a price or description was wrong, or because we cannot ship to your destination — we will tell you and refund any payment in full. We do not have to supply an item at an obviously incorrect price.

3. Availability

The Canvas collection is available to buy. The Eternals collection is an archive and is marked sold out; it cannot be added to a bag or purchased, and displaying it is not an offer to sell.

Fragrance is made in limited runs. Where an item sells out after you order it, we will contact you and refund you in full.

4. Prices and currency

Prices are shown in euro, pounds sterling or United States dollars. You may switch the display currency at any time; the currency you have selected at the moment of payment is the currency you are charged in.

Amounts other than the base currency are converted at a fixed rate we set, which may differ from the market rate on the day. Your card issuer may apply its own conversion or a foreign-transaction fee, over which we have no control.

Every total is recalculated on our server from our own catalogue before payment is taken. Where a displayed price is wrong, the correct price applies, and we will contact you before charging a different amount.

5. Payment

Payment is taken by Stripe. Card details are entered into a secure form hosted by Stripe and are never transmitted through or stored on our servers. Your order is processed once Stripe confirms the payment has succeeded.

If a payment is declined, no contract is formed and no charge is made. You are confirming that you are entitled to use the payment method you present.

6. Delivery

We ship worldwide from Ireland. Delivery charges and estimated times are set out in full on our shipping & returns page and are shown to you at checkout before you pay.

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Orders outside the European Union may attract import duty or tax, which is payable by the recipient.

7. Cancellation and returns

As a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom you may cancel within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason, by emailing customerservice@thelastavenue.com with your order reference.

Because fragrance is a sealed product supplied under health-protection and hygiene rules, this right does not apply to a bottle that has been unsealed after delivery. Returns must be unopened, sealed and in their original packaging.

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 14 days of the goods reaching us. The full returns procedure is on the shipping & returns page.

8. Faulty or misdescribed goods

If what arrives is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under consumer law, and nothing in these terms limits that. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order reference and a photograph.

9. Using the fragrance

Our fragrances are for external use on skin or clothing. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep away from eyes, from children and from flame — eau de parfum is alcohol-based and flammable. The ingredient list is printed on the packaging; if you have a known sensitivity, please check it before use.

10. Your account

An account is optional and free; you may buy as a guest. Access is by a single-use link emailed to your address, so keep control of that mailbox — anyone who can read your email can open your account.

Tell us if you believe someone else has used your account, and we will end every active session on it. We may close an account used for fraud or abuse. You may ask us to close yours at any time.

11. This website

The names, text, photography, design and the Canvas and Eternals marks on this site belong to us and may not be copied or reused commercially without our written permission. You may not attempt to interfere with the site, its security or its availability.

We take care that descriptions and images are accurate, but colour reproduction varies between screens and packaging may change.

12. Our liability

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, nor for business losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order, and changes do not affect an order already confirmed.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and disputes may be brought before its courts. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
